Description
Wood pellets are an environmentally friendly alternative, made primarily from waste from the sawmill industry, ground and compressed into small pellets. Conventional wood pellets have a calorific value of 4.6 to 5.0 kWh per kilogram.
Our pellets have a calorific value of 5.0 kWh per kilogram.
Two tons of pellets are equivalent to 1 m³ of heating oil or 7-10 m³ of chopped wood.
The high energy density offers significant advantages over handling wood in terms of transport and storage. Pellets do not freeze or mold. When using pellets, the burner fuel supply can be automated. The ash content is less than 0.3%.
